Puke

I wish I could. Nausea has followed me my whole life. I NEVER puke when I feel like this.

I actually got dressed to workout, picked out the stretch and the full body workout and halfway through the workout I started feeling like I was going to throw up 🤢. I had to stop. I took my Zofran but I haven’t felt this bad since I took Effexor during the day. I still take it but at dinner.

So Pilates is my love. But before I got nauseous I had to stop the exercises and wait for the next move because I couldn’t do the movements because of my disabilities. Using the at home videos is very affordable, but also has some drawbacks for me.

There’s no one to help correct me or modify the move for me specifically or my disabilities. But I have to be honest Club Pilates was $150 a month for unlimited classes in Orlando. I’m pretty sure it’s gone up since then.

I used to go five days a week two hours a day, and I started getting a six pack. It was great!

But then I hurt my ankle. Because of my Ms it took over six months to heal.

Then Covid happened and I didn’t want to go out because I didn’t want to get sick because with my MS I’m a lot more likely to get anything and it takes me usually twice as long to recover from anything.

The Pilates reformer works so well because working out makes anyone overheat, and when I overheat, I feel like I’m drunk or at least tipsy, and that makes working out impossible or even walking straight impossible. On a reformer I’m laying down for the most part so I can easily do many different exercises.

I feel so lucky to have a reformer at home in my office because they are thousands of dollars and my husband spoiled me when he was working in California two weeks out of the month and made over $10,000 a month. i’m not gonna lie he still spoils me.

I remember we drove in his mini Cooper clubman to go pick up the reformer. We bought it and all the accessories used from a lady on Facebook. I believe. It was like two hours away.I couldn’t even imagine what I would’ve thought, if I saw a car driving home with a rerformer the way we did. Many people probably didn’t even know what it was strapped to our car. Either way we took the performer and put it on the roof of the mini Cooper clubman, which was not as long as the reformer. We used a shit ton of bungee cords and strapped it down. Then we drove back to Orlando with it.
