When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I don’t know what I wanted to be when I grow up when I was five. I may have wanted to be a teacher.
I did know by the time I was eight years old, that I wanted to be a forensic psychologist for the FBI. That obviously transformed over the years.
I don’t think I ever have lost my love for forensics and psychology, but I transformed my love for forensic psychology into being a therapist. I don’t think that’s too bad.
I wanted to be a doctor of psychology. Unfortunately, when I was 19 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Then, when I was in my senior year of college, I got pregnant for a second time, surprisingly, and she was my pleasant surprise.
I’m so proud now that, although I couldn’t be a doctor, I am raising two children that have nothing but high regards for education. They both want to be doctors. One specifically told me that they want to be a doctor that cures diseases.
